The history of Pyrenex begins in 1859 in the small French village of Saint Sever. Abel Crabos started trading duck and feather down and making jackets together with his son. The high quality of down quickly attracted attention, even beyond the borders of France. In the sixties, the range was expanded to include bedding, which has resulted in two lines at Pyrenex to this day: clothing and house. The high-quality jackets are exclusively filled with down from companies in the Aquitaine, Pyrenees and Poitou regions. This "Made in France" seal ensures traceability and high standards. They are also Öko-Tex certified. When it comes to down jackets it will be difficult to find something better.
