Lyle & Scott
In 1874, William Lyle and Walter Scott founded a clothing company in Hawick, a small town on the Scottish border with England, and in keeping with William Lyle's motto "Good Work makes more Work", they achieved remarkable growth. In the 1980s Lyle & Scott also applied the colour diversity of their golf collection to the main collection, resulting in a contemporary image and adaptation by the casuals. The revival of the brand brought the famous golden eagle a new generation of dreams, especially among those that paid tribute to the generation of casuals of the 1980s.
