C.P. Company was founded in 1971 by cult designer Massimo Osti, then still under the name Chester Perry, a character from Ostis favourite cartoon. Born in Bologna, Massimo Osti was known for his innovative and creative design and of course for his dyeing techniques. In fact, it was Osti who introduced the "garment washed" style to the world's top brands and made it popular. Unfortunately, Massimo Osti died in June 2005, but his legacy lives on at C.P. Company. The best proof of his innovation and creativity is of course the C.P. Company Mille Miglia Goggle Jacket, produced for drivers of the Mille Miglia road race in Italy.
